Wondering where to go this summer for a different kind of getaway? How about a lazy sojourn along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail?
A new attraction is Wild Turkey’s new visitor center. Cost about $100 million, which is pretty wild. It’s over 9,000 sq. ft. situated on the Kentucky River and visitors can see the entire Bourbon making process. You will run into fellow travelers along the way as they are expecting about 80,000 visitors this year.
If you don’t get to Kentucky but would like a souvenir, later this year a limited edition of Wild Turkey Diamond Anniversary will be released. The diamond anniversary is that of master distiller Jimmy Russell’s 60 years in the industry. It will retail for around $124.99 at the visitor center and nationwide.
