May 8, 2015 – Would you spend $199 to enhance your glass of beer? As of writing 339 people would, and between them they have pledged $45,590 of the $50,000 goal to fund the manufacture of Fizzics on crowdfunding site Indiegogo. This is a neat, countertop machine that will make any beer taste better and provide a perfect head, according to the creators.
The brainchild of three men who describe themselves as beer-loving geeks, the machine uses high-frequency sound waves to chop the bubbles into myriad fine bubbles to create a dense texture head with enhanced aroma, flavor and a smooth, creamy sensation.
It accommodates all standard size cans and bottles, runs on four AA batteries, is lightweight and portable, and does not require refills of CO2 or other accessories.
To operate, place cold beer container in canister, put tube into beer and close lid. Pull the lever forward to fill glass and pull backward to top off with the head. Prety simple.
