Goose Island Five Years Later

March 31, 2016 – Is it possible for behemoth Anheuser-Busch to mass-produce a craft beer?  And what goes into converting 50-barrel batches into 1,000-barrel batches?  Is Goose Island anything like its former self?

Josh Noel of the Chicago Tribune has written a very thoughtful article on what it has taken for Goose Island to make the transformation from its Fulton Street brewery in Chicago to Anheuser-Busch’s plant in Baldwinsville, N.Y.  It may allay the fears of those of you who doubt that A-B can, or is willing to produce a decent beer.
