December 22, 2016 – Some traditions never die. For many of us, saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new just wouldn’t be the same without a cocktail of America’s finest whiskey. We weren’t too surprised to find out via Google that the Old Fashioned remains one of our most popular cocktails. It is also simple to make and doesn’t require a PhD in mixology. Even better, the ingredients are probably already on your cocktail bar or in the liquor cupboard.
We have a half a dozen recipes below featuring offerings from major brands from Kentucky and Tennessee plus one from Crown Royal, our Canadian cousins. Sometimes you just can’t beat the tried and true so welcome in 2017 in traditional American style.
