July 2, 2013-Nothing says summer like Sangria and there are dozens of recipes if you search the Internet. But what to do when it’s really hot, you’re exhausted and you don’t have time to cut up fruit and steep it in red wine and some spirit for several hours? Do what we did recently.
We had some very light, fruity red wine open so we put a couple of ounces in a large wine glass, added some ice cubes and filled it up with Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Result: A delicious, refreshing, not too sweet, low alcohol summer sipper. Perfect! We’ll definitely be offering it at our next barbecue.
