
It’s never simple when it comes to regulations in the alcohol beverage world. The Florida Senate approved 64-ounce growler fills of beer but at the same time they are restricting direct sales to consumers by craft brewers making more than 1,000 barrels. They are limited to 20% direct-to-consumer sales of bottled or canned beer. After that, they must sell through a distributor. Craft brewers feel the restrictions are bad for the burgeoning craft industry. The Florida House of Representatives has yet to weigh in.
