New Bourbon from Brown-Forman

Cooper's craftApril 12, 2016 – Brown-Forman, proud owners of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey will roll out a new bourbon during the summer.  Initial release will be limited to Kentucky, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida.  As supplies increase distribution will include other states.

The new bourbon will be called Cooper’s Craft, a tribute to the barrel makers who craft the all-important barrels that impart distinctive flavor and color to mature bourbon.  Cooper’s Craft will be aged in charred oak barrel for four to six years before bottling.

This is the first time in 20 years that Brown-Forman has created a new brand of bourbon and the timing couldn’t be better with revenues for Tennessee whiskey and rye whiskey up 7.8 percent in 2015.
