We need jobs in America and the beer industry is doing its bit. An economic study commissioned by the Beer Institute and the National Beer Wholesalers Association shows that the beer industry is responsible for two million jobs and contributes $246.6 billion – with a “b” – to the economy. It generates $49 billion – there’s that “b” word again – in local state and federal taxes.
