November 6, 2019 – Once again, Kona Brewing Co. has captured the flavor of Hawaii with a newly released Hibiscus Brut IPA. We poured ours into large wine goblets and loved the rosy hue as it swirled under a big creamy head. Hibiscus is Hawaii’s national flower so they must have used red ones only. If you’ve never served beer in a goblet, try it. We think it is the best way to drink beer.
Limited Release
Besides it distinctive color, Hibiscus Brut IPA exhibits bright tropical flavors and the finish is clean and refreshing. No sour notes here. The only thing wrong with it is that it is a limited release through December. We’d like to drink this one year ‘round, especially in summer. It’s in stores now retailing around $7.99 to $10.99 for 6-pack bottles or cans.
