Quick & Easy Spring Cocktails

April 4, 2021 — It’s spring.  Things are getting better.  Let’s celebrate!

Our friends at Bacardi have a few ideas to lend a touch of glamour to brunch or cocktails and they couldn’t be simpler.  In fact, these are recipes to have on hand for any occasion all summer long. The Bacardi Cuatro Remix has just three ingredients.  The Bacardi Airmail adds a nice touch of sophistication with sparkling wine.

We also have a secret ingredient that requires nothing more than pulling a tab on a can:  Bacardi Limón & Lemonade.  This is white rum and a blend of lemon, lime and grapefruit that is refreshing and ready to drink and only 5.9% ABV.  Serve it in an attractive glass over rocks and garnish with a slice of lemon or lime.  Perfect!

Bacardi Cuatro Remix

• 1½ oz. Bacardi Añejo Cuatro Rum 
• 3 oz. ginger ale
• Splash of pineapple juice

Method: Fill a highball glass with ice. Build all ingredients directly in the glass. Stir gently. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Bacardi Airmail

• 1 part Bacardi Añejo Cuatro Rum
• ½ parts lime juice
• ½ parts honey syrup*
• 1 ½ parts Martini & Rossi Prosecco

Method: Shake the first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and double strain into a flute. Top with prosecco. Garnish with orange zest.
