How about a
vodka made from milk? It’s true. Made by Vermont Spirits of Quechee, VT it really is made from milk, it has a cow on the label, and it is lactose free. Huh?
Inspired by Araka, the traditional Tuvan drink distilled from fermented mare’s milk, Wine Enthusiast magazine described it as “an unusually delicious vodka with aromas and flavors of fresh cream, sugar, and honey”. Tuvans are a tribe in Southern Siberia. Yurt party anyone?
Vermont Spirits also produces a vodka made from maple sugar.
