It’s Time to Bring on the Bubbly

The traditional drink for New Year’s Eve is something with bubbles, whether it is true champagne, from the Champagne region of France, or sparkling wine from other countries of Europe or the USA. We refer you to our posting the week of December 8 “Affordable Bubbly”. Of course, Champagne being sparkling, fun and festive, it’s ideal for that special toast or ringing in the New Year. In fact, over 40 percent of all annual Champagne sales in the U.S. occur between Thanksgiving and December 31, with approximately 15 percent of all those sales occur during the week leading up to New Year’s Eve.
