World’s Biggest Drinks Company Hip Hopping
A Diddy/Diageo combo sounds like a bizarrerie. Yes, that is a word. Diddy is a rapper while Diageo is the biggest alcohol drinks company in the world. They have formed a joint venture to buy DeLeón tequila that, according to the Wall Street Journal, sells in some Hollywood bars for more than $1,000 a bottle.
This isn’t the first time Diageo and Diddy have partnered. In 2007 they developed Ciroc vodka. The high end tequila market is very small and DeLeón sells fewer than 10,000 nine-liter cases a year in just 18 US states but at that price, there’s plenty of profit.
