Top Craft Breweries for 2014

April 1, 2015 – The Brewers Association, a trade group for the craft beer industry, has just published its list of the top 50 breweries for 2014 based on sales volume.  They also published a list of the top 50 overall brewing companies of which 42 are craft brewers.

In February 2014, the board of the Brewers Association amended it rules to allow breweries using corn, rice or any non-barley fermentables to qualify as craft.  As a result, D.G. Yuengling & Son is now Number One surpassing Boston Beer Co.
