This is the drink of Caribbean holiday celebrations that originated in Puerto Rico, a sort of tropical eggnog that is really delicious. Traditionally home made, Bacardi has created a ready-to-drink coquito that allows you to indulge in the heritage-filled libation without all the effort in the kitchen. Chill well. Shake well. Serve.
The traditional recipe combines Bacardi Superior White Rum with toasted spices, coconut cream, vanilla, and cinnamon for a creamy festive drink, either straight or over ice. The ABV is a reasonable 13%.
Besides making entertaining amazingly easy, it just might solve the what-to-take-to-the-Christmas-dinner quandary. Bacardi is partnering with local New York bakery – Brooklyn Cupcake — to offer a tasty limited-edition Bacardi Coquito Cupcake in celebration of the most wonderful time of the year!
