June 16, 2024 —  We love it when wine and spirits companies seek to do good by supporting organizations that make life better for everyone.  St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery is using the occasion of the launch of the inaugural vintage of Sauvignon Blanc from its Rutherford Estate Vineyard to donate $2.00 per bottle to Fed by Blue.

Fed by Blue’s goals support efforts that advance responsible production and protection of our waters.  Their informative web site documents their efforts to sustainably farm the oceans to produce six times more blue food than today as well as provide employment and protection of coastal communities.  A three-part docuseries will start airing on PBS on June 19 called “Hope in the Water”.

Located in the Napa Valley, St. Supéry’s Sauvignon Blanc is the first release of wine from a parcel of 48 acres in Rutherford that they acquired in 2023.  It is described as richly layered with bright acid structure and high-toned mineral notes on the palate. The wine fills the senses with perfumed Kaffir lime, lemon zest, gooseberry, a hint of wildflower honey, and an appealing passion fruit thread in the satisfying finish.  It is a limited release priced at $42:00 a bottle and is available only at the winery or on their web site. (https://www.stsupery.com/shop/)  St. Supéry, a CHANEL owned winery, is one of the rare 100% estate-grown wineries and is Certified Napa Green Winery and Vineyard.
