Brewery Worker’s Tom Brady Prank Revealed

August 14, 2015 – Someone called Biscuit vented his frustration with Tom Brady and DeflateGate by stamping the bottom of 20,000 cans of beer with “Tom Brady Sux”.

At Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis, which sells its beer at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts, there’s a practice of someone on the canning line coming up with a silly or clever statement every day to add to the “Born on” stamp on the bottom of the can.  It was Biscuit’s turn on May 13, right when DeflateGate was in the headlines, so he vented with “Tom Brady Sux”.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Sun King’s co-owner Clay Robinson, said the company is not taking any credit or responsibility for insulting the Patriots.  He thought was funny but from now on Biscuit, who still has his job, has to submit his ideas for the stamp for approval.  Awww.  That will kill creativity.

The stamp was on Wee Mac Scottish Ale, which is about to expire so it will be hard to find a can now that says Tom Brady Sux.  As Clay Robinson pointed out, most people just drank the beer and recycled the can without even seeing Biscuit’s cri de coeur.
