Cleveland Cavaliers and Brewery Collaborate

March 30, 2015 – In a professional sports team first, The Brew Kettle brewery of Strongsville, Ohio and the Cleveland Cavaliers have come together with a special beer named for the team’s tagline “All For One”.  The beer is a session IPA or India Pale Ale.  “Sessionable” beer typically refers to lower-alcohol ales, so drinkers can have a few one in one session.  The alcohol is 4.75 in this brew.

The beer debuted last Wednesday at The Brew Kettle and made its first appearance at the Quicken Loans Stadium March 29 when the Cavaliers hosted Philadelphia.  It will be available in bottles and draft and early comments were favorable.  It will also be for sale in a limited number of stores and taverns. Medal winning Brewmaster Jack Kephart, said “My goal was something that had that bigger hop profile of flavor and aroma associated with an IPA, but to keep the bitterness down.”

When the limited release runs out, what then?  They are already talking about something different for next year.
