Newly Released New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Reviewed

When it comes to white wines, Sauvignon Blanc is our favorite hands down, although we’ve been known to rave about Semillon, Viognier, dry Rieslings and other lovely varietals, including un-oaked Chardonnay.
But back to Sauvignon Blanc. We found a lovely Reserve, just released on the U.S. market from the famed Marlborough region. Called “The Straits” in reference to Cook Strait that separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand, it comes from highly respected producer, Sileni Estates.
