John Wayne DUKE Bourbon Update

There’s no question that John Wayne remains an American hero.  The outpouring of response to our story back in mid-April about the release of DUKE Kentucky Straight Bourbon attests to his iconic stature, not just in this country but also in many places around the world.  The founders of Duke Spirits, including his son, Ethan, must have underestimated response because their anticipated national roll out has been put on ice (pun intended!).  We have been advised that the Bourbon has limited distribution in selected markets and will remain so until 2015.

In response to all the inquiries, the PR company handling the brand has sent us a link to distributors http://www.dukespirits.com/locator/.  If there is a distributor listed somewhere in your area, they may be able to help you.  If there’s no distributor shown in your state, well  DUKE Bourbon just isn’t available as yet.

Wish we had better news.  We’ll keep you posted if we hear of any change and at the very least, we’ll follow up and let you know when product is expected to be released in 2015.

PS:  We’d like to try it, too!
