Powdered Alcohol Creating a Buzz

Lawmakers are clamoring to put the kibosh on Palcohol, a powdered alcohol product. Invented in Japan in the 1970s, powdered alcohol was originally meant as an additive in food manufacturing. Today’s product from Lipsmark comes in six flavors producing cocktails when mixed with water. The big danger is that a small pouch is easy to conceal and dangerous in the hands of youngsters. If snorted, the consequences can be dire at any age.
We expect that the producers and distributors of legitimate beverage alcohol will not be pleased either.
Do you think Palcohol should be licensed? Let us know what you think.
