National Tequila Day Sunday, July 24

July 22, 2016 – We’ve had International Negroni Week back in June.  That was a good one as it raised money for charity.  This past week it was National Daiquiri Day, a delightful classic cocktail to celebrate every day.  Now we move on to National Tequila Day on Sunday, July 24.

It’s “National” to everyone else, but to Patrón it is “International” Tequila Day and to celebrate, they are launching a very cool tool for very cool tool users.  Voice-activated technology available through Amazon Echo will allow users to access hands-free a variety of cocktail recipes and information about tequila.

Just imagine asking Patrón via the lovely Alexa for instructions on how to make a Moscow Mule or a Mojito, or the proper way to shake and strain a cocktail.  How simple is that!  The brand also has reinvigorated the cocktail section of their website, now known as Patrón Cocktail Lab.

Proving their Tequila Day is truly International, Patron will hold simultaneous events in the U.S., U.K., Australia and Mexico showcasing how time honored drinks like Gin + Tonic and even Bloody Marys are perfected by Patrón.
