Sculpture Stolen At Robert Mondavi Winery

The Napa Register reports that a copper sculpture of an artichoke was stolen from outside the tasting room at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville some time last week. The sculpture disappeared between noon Wednesday and 7:00 a.m. Thursday. Worth about $10,000, the sculpture was two feet tall and weighed about 30 pounds (which is less than a case of wine). Police have no suspects but if you see a copper artichoke, you know whom to call.
