New Tool for Taking Tasting Notes

It’s always fun when web surfing leads to something unique and interesting.  We were browsing Kegworks – these people have everything you can think of plus a whole of things you haven’t thought of when it comes to beer and winemaking equipment, barware, entertaining and so on – and we came across a terrific little wine tasting log book.  It’s perfect for wine lovers, amateurs included, who like to keep notes of bottles opened at home, in a restaurant or at a tasting.

It’s called “33 Bottles of Wine” and each page includes a space for essentials like name of wine, winery, vintage, price; a space for notes; a flavor wheel, and a color meter.  They even show you how to use the flavor wheel to jog your memory of the wine.  Having lost more notes then we care to admit, this cute little pocket sized notebook is an answer to our untidiness.  And it only costs $4.00!  No more backs of envelopes, scraps of paper or scribbles on napkins.

Other tasting notebooks also selling for $4.00 are “33 Bottles of Beer”, “33 Drams of Whiskey”, “33 Pieces of Cheese” and “33 Cigars” which retails for $5.49.

Kegworks is a good place to keep in mind not only for your own party/mancave/picnic/barware needs but also gift items.  They ship all over the world and have been in business selling both to individuals and the trade since 1998.
