March 18, 2016 – A survey conducted by The Balvenie Scotch Whisky brand found that nearly 10 percent of 2,000 people surveyed in the U.K. think brewing or winemaking would be their ideal job. Surprisingly, these weren’t the most popular choice of dream job being beaten out by illustrator/artist, landscaper, jewelry designer, chef or baker, interior designer, musician or photographer. Nobody thought being an accountant or IT consultant would be fun. In fact, they were the very people most anxious to switch to something else even if it paid less.
It would be interesting to find out what Americans would pick as a dream career. We’re guessing brewing, winemaking and distilling would rate really well.
