Sam Adams Summer Ale is Back
May 18, 2018 – Sam Adams Summer Ale is celebrating its 22nd year so they must be doing something right. We like this ale. It is mellow but it still has bright flavor, just not that bitter, sour taste that we’re not too fond of. The company credits a special blend of Hallertau Mittelfrueh and Saaz Noble hops, lemon peel and an African pepper called Grains of Paradise.
We could wax on about tasting heavenly but we’ll just settle for pairing it with fishy things like clambakes, shrimp on the barbie, jerk chicken and Thai food. Did we mention it has won 81 awards over its lifetime, so far?
Sam Adams Summer Ale is available now until August. Stock up for Memorial Day, which is right around the corner.
