August 28, 2020 – The Macallan has unveiled an exciting new virtual experience providing unprecedented access to the Whisky Mastery Team as they explore the journey of the creation of the new Double Cask Range, a perfect partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks creating a range with an extraordinary fusion of vanilla and subtle spice.

“The Macallan Whisky Bench Experience:  Discover the Double Cask Journey From Acorn to Glass” will be available to consumers on Wednesday, September 16 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

For the first time ever, three members of the Whisky Master Team, Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker, Sarah Burgess, Lead Whisky Maker and Stuart MacPherson, Master of Wood, will come together for a virtual experience in the U.S. The Whisky Bench Experience will give consumers an inside look at the 116+ year journey involved in creating the Double Cask Range as told by the Masters of The Macallan themselves. Hosted and moderated by National Brand Ambassador, Raquel Raies, this virtual experience will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the art and science behind the Double Cask whisky making process, tasting and interactive live Q&A session.
