New Line of Spanish Wines From Freixenet
Spanish winery Freixenet (they own Gloria Ferrer Sparkling Wines in Sonoma, California, which is definitely worth a visit!) is launching a new line of Spanish wines called Mia. The five wines comprise 2012 Mia Red; 2013 Mia White; 2013 Mia Rosé all priced at $10. Mia Moscato and Mia Moscato Rosé are priced at $12. The wines are described as “Barcelona-inspired” and use Spanish grapes such as Tempranillo for the red and a blend of Macabeo, Xarello and Parallada for the white.
