February 1, 2017 – We’re just days away from Super Bowl 51 and deciding what to eat and drink is a big part of the annual tradition, whether your party is two people or 20. Beer is the featured beverage, both in the ad lineup and around the TV screen, but wine and cocktails have sharp elbows. But who wants to be stuck behind the bar or in the kitchen? So we put the word out and we’ve found a few fast favorites and if you forgo the garnishes, no one will care. For the beer drinkers who want to “kick it up a notch”, we’ve included a beer cocktail using Sam Adam’s Rebel Juiced IPA, a new flavor introduced this year.
For the talented mixologists who want to showcase their skills, we’ve got a few recipes that will definitely set the mood for a Super Bowl celebration. Better get them served before the game starts (except for the Jägermule Punch, which will keep everybody liquored up for the whole game). These drinks are super stars and you deserve accolades for quarterbacking the bar.
